The Maison des Sciences de l'Homme-Alpes is located within the main campus of the university (Domaine Universitaire de Grenoble St-Martin d’Hères), at the 1221, Avenue Centrale. It is easily reachable by tram our by car. 

By car

Take the motorways mentioned below in direction of Grenoble :

• Form Chambéry : A 41 - Chambéry (46 km), Annecy (100 km), Genève (144 km)
• From  Lyon : A 48 - Lyon (105 km), Paris (566 km)
• Form Valence : A 49 - Valence (99 km)

Leave the motorway at Rocade Sud, exit 1 "Domaine universitaire Gières - Mayencin". Then check the plan of the campus for the exact location.

If you are arriving from the town centre or from St Martin d'Hères, take the Avenue Gabriel Péri and enter the campus from the Entrance 2 (Campus - zone commerciale de Champ Roman). Then check the plan of the campus for the exact location.

By tram

La MSH-Alpes is 3 minutes away from the stop "Bibliothèques universitaires" of both line B and C.

• Line B from the city centre and the train and bus stations  [Direction "Gières Plaine des Sports"]
• Line C from the city centre [Direction "Condillac Universités"]
• Line B from the train station Grenoble Université - Gières [Direction "Grenoble Cité Internationale"]

Tickets must be purchased and validated outside the trams. A ticket is valid for 60 minutes including connections.

By Bus

Lines 5, 11 or 26, stop "Bibliothèques universitaires".
