You can reach Grenoble by plane, train or car.

By train

Grenoble railway station allows for a connection with the most important cites in France. By TGV, Grenoble is 1h away fro, Lyon and 3hrs from Paris and Marseille.

By plane

You can choose to get to Grenoble via the Lyon Saint-Exupéry or the Genève-Cointrin airports. Attention: the airport of Grenoble  Saint Geoirs is not open at this time of the year.

 

Airport Lyon Saint-Exupéry  (LYS)   


Lyon Saint-Exupéry is an international airport which offers connections to the main European destinations. From there you can then reach Grenoble by train or by shuttle bus.

shuttle  connects the airport of Lyon Saint-Exupery to Grenoble with an hourly service between 6am and 11pm, 7 days a week. The shuttle leaves from the Central Hall on teh first floor of the airport. The journey lasts about 1 hour [stop "Grenoble gare routière"].

A TGV train connects the airport Lyon-Saint Exupery to Grenoble in 1h07, but runs less frequently with respect to the shuttle bus. For timetables and all other information please check the SNCF website.

 

Airport Genève-Cointrin (GVA)

Genève-Cointrin is qn international airpot in Switzerland. From teh Geneva aiport you can reach Grenoble by train or by shuttle bus.

shuttle connects the airport of Geneva to Grenoble with 5 connections daily, 7 days a week. The journey lasts about 2hrs  [stop "Grenoble gare routière"].

By train : You can catch a train from Genevq airport to Genève Cornavin CFF (A connection is avaialible every 15 minutes from the airport) and from there you can get a train to Grenoble. The journey lasts about 2hrs. For timetables and all other information please check the SNCF website.

By car
